Bella Wang, Warna Vokal Khas Teenager Dan Pendatang Baru Musik Indonesia
JAKARTA - Lagu Single Mudah Jatuh Cinta yang dinyanyikan penyanyi pendatang baru asal Surabaya, Bella Wang kini bisa kita dengarkan dengan suara khasnya yang bernada centil. Bella mengaku pencitraan dirinya sebagai penyanyi memang ditujukan untuk kalangan teenagers (remaja).
"Sekarang banyak penyanyi masih muda, dia nyanyi pop tapi enggak cocok buat anak-anak remaja. Sesuai karakter suara aku dengan suara dan tampilan belasan tahun, aku sepertinya cocok di situ," terang Bella kepada wartawan yang ditemui di kawasan Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, belum lama ini.
Namun, penampilannya yang pernah menghiasi acara-acara musik seperti InBox (SCTV), Derings (Trans TV), dan Klik (Antv) tidak membuatnya ingin menjadi penyanyi seutuhnya. Lho?
"Aku di nyanyi ini buat hobi aja, jadi penyanyi bukan cita-cita aku, aku tetap ngutamain pendidikan, karena cita-cita aku sebenarnya jadi dokter," tutur dara yang mengidolakan Kevin 'Viera' ini.
Munkin wajar alasan yang dikemukakan Bella yang masih mengenyam sekolah di SMP MIMI, Surabaya, karena punya tanggung jawab moril soal pendidikan pada orangtuanya.
"Pendidikan adalah hal utama bagi aku, untuk profesi nyanyi aku tempatkan sebagai hobi tapi kalau sampai bisa menghasilkan, why not," unkapnya.
Saat ditanya kenapa warna vokalnya mirip dengan duo T2, apakah ingin bersanding dengan grup tersebut dalam hal persaingan?
"Vokal ini memang karakter aku, walau memang ada kemiripan, kita diberi anugerah warna vokal yang mirip saja. Soal persaingan, T2 lebih dulu eksis dan punya penggemar yang banyak. semoga saja penggemar T2 bisa nerima aku juga, he he he," tandas Bella diplomatis.

Siapa Checyl?
Sebagai solois pendatang baru di industri rekaman Tanah Air, Checyl terhitung memiliki kelebihan. Selain lama berada di belakang panggung sebagai penyanyi latar Sinbad Band, penyanyi kelahiran Pekanbaru, Kalimantan Tengah, 21 Desember 1986 ini, sudah memastikan untuk selalu tampil membawakan lagu-lagu ciptaan sendiri.
Hal tersebut mulai dibuktikan Checyl saat melepas single perdananya yang berjudul “Sumpah Aku Cinta Mati”. Single berlatar sweet pop ini adalah ciptaan Checyl.
“Ya, single perdana ini sebagai pembuktianku. Aku merasa lebih enak bawain lagu sendiri karena itu aku ambil dari pengalaman pribadi,” kata Checyl.
Selama penggarapan single ini, Checyl mengaku banyak di-support Ony Fathoni sebagai music arangger–nya. Tidak butuh waktu lama, kolaborasi keduanya kemudian melahirkan “Sumpah Aku Cinta Mati” dalam waktu kurang dari seminggu. Single ini terasa mantap saat dilantunkan Checyl dengan karakter vokalnya yang tipis namun berkarakter kuat. Vokal Checyl sendiri, sepintas mengingatkan pada vokal penyanyi Yuni Shara.
Kesukaan Checyl pada dunia tarik suara, diawali sejak dirinya masih kanak-kanak dan menetap di kota Pekanbaru. Merasa Checyl memiliki bakat yang luar biasa, salah seorang tantenya kemudian memaksa Checyl untuk ikut ambil bagian dalam sejumlah kompetisi menyanyi. Di usia 13 tahun, Checyl sudah menyabet juara I lomba nyanyi se-Pekanbaru.
Ketika duduk di bangku SLTA, bersama rekan-rekannya, Checyl membentuk sebuah band beraliran acid jazz bernama Bougenville. Dari sinilah Checyl mengaku bersentuhan dengan dunia musik secara profesional, sebelum akhirnya bergabung dengan Sinbad Band sebagai penyanyi latar.
“Kebetulan album Sinbad Band ditangani Nagaswara. Dari situ aku kenal Pak Rahayu. Iseng aku tawari sample suaraku, ternyata beliau suka. Makanya aku berterimakasih buat Pak Rahayu yang sudah mempercayakan aku untuk masuk dapur rekaman,” ujar Checyl serius.
Meski mengaku persaingan di jalur solois perempuan tidaklah mudah, Checyl tetap yakin dapat menunjukkan kelebihan dia sebagai penyanyi. Dia berharap, penikmat musik Indonesia dapat menerima musiknya dengan baik.
“Yah, pokoknya aku berharap dapat memberikan sesuatu yang lebih bagi penggemar aku, dan penikmat musik pada umumnya. Mudah-mudahan kehadiranku bisa diterima,” ungkap dara berusia 23 tahun itu penuh optimis.

Beruntung sekali, suara emas Raisa dan video sederhananya menyanyi di dalam kamar menarik perhatian banyak orang, termasuk Asta (personil RAN) serta Handy dan Rio (dari band Soulvibe). Ketiga musisi ini merasa yakin tempat Raisa sesungguhnya adalah di panggung hiburan nasional, ditonton banyak orang, dan bukan sekadar pajang video di YouTube. Maka mereka pun menawarkan diri untuk memproduseri album pertama Raisa yang akan dirilis akhir tahun ini.
